Portalais’ clients rarely utilize their window and door shutters as they do in Italy and France however, all of our shutter sets are made to be operable. They typically are made to sit flush with the exterior finished wall and are closed from the inside and normally working with an in swing door or window. We have installation recommendations suitable to most applications where the shutters could be used if desired. Authentic, Old World hardware is always included.
